CED Tracker

Where every reader, subdeacon and servant stands in certification, for His Grace and the clergy of the diocese. At a glance, church by church.

What it does

Certification, made visible

Readers and subdeacons work through their courses online, and servants complete their exams through the department. CED Tracker brings it together so the clergy can see who's ready, who's close, and who needs encouragement, without digging through course pages or spreadsheets.

Ready, at a glance

How many readers and subdeacons are ready for ordination, in progress or just starting, across the diocese or at one church. A gold badge marks everyone who has finished.

By church and region

Every church, grouped by region, with progress for its readers, subdeacons and servants. Each church page lists its candidates by status.

Every step, every score

Open any candidate to see their checklist: course modules, each exam and its score, the oral exam and the attestation, and the next step they need.

For His Grace

The whole diocese in one place. Record ordinations one at a time or for a whole group, and every ordination is kept with its date.

For each priest

Each priest sees his own church: its readers, subdeacons and servants, with the same reports, and can keep the church's address up to date.

Reports in seconds

An Ordination List or a Church Report as a PDF, for a church, a region or the diocese, ready to print or share.

How it works

Always up to date, nothing to enter

The tracker reads from the places the department already keeps its records, and refreshes every few minutes.

Where it comes from

  • Reader and Subdeacon courses on the department's learning site
  • The Servant Mastersheet
  • The church and region list
→

What it checks

  • Readers: all 7 modules, each module exam, the oral exam and the attestation
  • Subdeacons: written exam, oral exam and attestation
  • Servants: certified or not, exam by exam
→

What the clergy see

  • Ready for ordination, in progress, or not started
  • Their own church (priests) or every church (His Grace)
  • Just their church's servants (servant stewards)
  • On iPhone, Android and the web

Servant stewards

Share the servants, and only the servants

A priest can invite someone he trusts, such as a servants' coordinator, to follow his church's servants. They see each servant's certification and exams, and nothing about readers or subdeacons.

Invited by email

In Settings → Servant stewards, the priest enters a name and email. The steward gets an email explaining how to sign in with a code.

Servants only

Stewards see their church's servants: who's certified, who's in progress, who needs a retake, each exam, and a servants report to print or share.

Removed anytime

The priest can remove a steward with one tap, and their access ends right away, even if they're signed in.

Signing in

A code by email. No passwords.

CED Tracker is for His Grace, the priests of the diocese, and the servant stewards they invite. Only approved emails can sign in.

Enter your email

Tap Sign in with an email code and enter your diocese email (usually your @lacopts.org address), or the email your priest invited.

Check your inbox

A 6-digit code arrives from Certification Tracker. If it's not there, check your junk folder.

Type the code

You're in. Codes work for 10 minutes, and on iPhone they can fill in on their own.

Your privacy. No ads, no tracking. If His Grace turns on church visits, his location stays on his iPhone and is never sent anywhere. Read the privacy policy.
